One of the latest Apple Pencil features for use on compatible iPads is now available for use in Brazilian Portuguese. This is Scribble, which around here is called “Write by hand”.
The function allows you to take notes or fill out entries in Safari and use search fields without having to resort to the iPad’s virtual keyboard. To do this, just write the desired content using Apple Pencil, with the drawings automatically converted into characters.
At the same time, if you make a mistake, just cross out the word to erase it. Circular is the equivalent of selecting content.
Feature was added in iPadOS 14 and improved in new updates.Source: Apple
The feature was announced on iPadOS 14, June 2020, but so far it has only been released in a few languages. The update to the new languages was done quietly by Apple.
In addition to Portuguese from Brazil and Portugal, “Writing by hand” is now released in several regional variants of Spanish, Italian, German and French.
